Little Scientists

From Karissa:

Hi guys!

This was me yesterday when I was working on math. And guess what I was learning about math? Faces, corners, and edges! It's geometry and shapes. Right now I'm eating cheese. : )

This is our second science experiment because the first one was before we got all of our equipment.

In this picture I am measuring the mass of a candy cane (After I was done I got to eat it!)

Bye! I'll be back next blog post!

From Amy:

Hi~

I'm balancing a candy cane and with the other thing on the other side, I'm using gram cubes.

In this picture, I'm measuring with a graduated cylinder.

I love science!
Bye Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Mommy:

  3. Hey little Avella scientists...did you know that some of the best scientists and inventors were girls just like you? Well...grown up girls, anyway. One of my favorite inventors of all time was a woman named Josephine Garis Cochrane. Can you guess why??
